Master of Epidemiology Diponegoro University (Undip) held a hybrid Alumni Talk Series on Sunday, August 14, 2022. The event was attended by alumni of the Undip Master of Epidemiology who have been successful in their careers and shared their experiences and knowledge with the students who attended.

Alumni Talk Series is one form of activity held regularly by the Undip Master of Epidemiology in order to strengthen the relationship between alumni and students and build connections in the field of epidemiology.

Some alumni of the Master of Epidemiology Undip who attended this event included dr. Lily Kresnowati, M.Kes. (Director of BPJS Kesehatan), M. Nizar, SKM, M.Kes. (Secretary of Musi Rawas Health Office), Lukman Hakim, SKM, M.Epid. (BRIN Functional Researcher), and Sutarman, SKM, M.Kes (Head of PAEI Central Java). These alumni have experience in various research projects and interventions in the field of epidemiology.

In addition, the event was also filled with interactive question and answer sessions between the alumni and the participants. Students and alumni of Master of Epidemiology Undip can ask about various topics such as work experience, tips on conducting research, and career opportunities in the field of epidemiology.

This event received high enthusiasm from students and alumni of the Master of Epidemiology Undip. In her speech, Dr. drh. Dwi Sutiningsih, M.Kes. as the head of the Undip Master of Epidemiology study program expressed her hope that this event could be a momentum to build connections and collaboration between alumni and students in developing epidemiology. It is hoped that similar activities can also continue to be carried out to improve the quality and competence of students and alumni of the Undip Master of Epidemiology in overcoming public health problems.
