The Master of Epidemiology at Diponegoro University held a hybrid Alumni talk show. at the Postgraduate Campus of UNDIP Jalan Imam Barjo, No. 5 Semarang on Sunday, August 14, 2022, 09.00-finish. Head of Study Program for the period 2011-2014 (Dr drg. Henry Setyawan, MS), Head of Study Program for the period 2015-2019 (dr/ M. Sakudarno Adi, MSc, PhD), current Head of Study Program (Dr. drh. Dwi Sutiningsih, MKes), satkeholders and all alumni from the class of 2004 - 2022. From 2004 to 2022, the Master of Epidemiology has produced epidemiologists spread throughout Indonesia and abroad, with a total of 481 alumni. The alumni work in various government and private sectors such as the Health Service, Port Health Office, Health Center, Hospital, Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, NGOs, companies and others.

This activity aims to establish partnerships with alumni and strengthen alumni networks in supporting the vision and mission of the Undip Master of Epidemiology. According to the current Head of Study Program, organized activities involving the role of alumni will be carried out continuously and sustainably. So it is hoped that the role and contribution of alumni will be more optimal. This talk show becomes a treasure and a vehicle so that the indicators of the success of higher education are more real and beneficial for the welfare of the community.

Present from the alumni to share their experiences were dr. Lily Kresnowati, MKes-Director of BPJS Health (Alumni batch 2002), Muhamad Nizar, SKM. MM., M.Epid – Secretary of the DPPKB Musi Rawas Regency (Alumnus class 2009), Sutarman, SKM, MKes- Chairman of PAEI Central Java (Alumni class 2006) and Lukman Hakim, SKM, M.Epid - BRIN Researcher (Alumni 2009) . According to Dr. Lily Kresnowati, M.Kes. the role of epidemiology and health insurance is an inseparable unity. Meanwhile, the competency standardization of epidemiology was delivered by Muhamad Nizar, SKM. MM., M. Epid is needed to address health problems comprehensively. Regarding the role of the PAEI professional organization, it has been formed in Central Java and is ready to accommodate Epidemiologists, said Sutarman, SKM, MKes as Chair of the Central Java PAEI. The third material was delivered by Lukman Hakim, SKM., M.Epid. on Health Research and Development by Lukman Hakim, SKM., M.Epid.

In addition to the takl show, FGD was also held which was attended by all alumni of various generations. Many inputs, suggestions and criticisms from alumni for the development of the Master of Epidemiology in the future include: 1). Improve coordination within the Whatapps Alumni group, 2). Strengthening internal and external networks of alumni of the Master of Epidemiology, and 3). Carrying out Talk Show activities again with a more focused theme and updates related to health issues.

The event was more lively because it was interspersed with entertainment and games. One of them is karaoke from Patriawati Naredra, SKM., MKM (Alumnus Angkayan 2017) by singing the song Joko Tingkir followed by singers from various generations. The event closed with the distribution of door prizes in the afternoon.
