Master of Epidemiology Diponegoro University held another Visiting Lecturer activity with the theme “How To Conduct Epidemiology Research On Infectious Diseases” on October 25, 2024. This event is one of the important agendas for students to expand their knowledge, especially in the field of epidemiology.

In this event, Master of Epidemiology Diponegoro University invited experts from both within and outside the country to share their experiences, knowledge, and latest research. This event is not only a place to listen to presentations from experts, but also a discussion forum that enriches participants’ insights through questions and answers and interactive sessions.

The resource person invited to this event was Dr. Lily Telisinghe. She is a Public Health consultant at the University of Plymouth NHS trust UK delivering infectious disease epidemiology research.

This Visiting Lecturer activity is not just a routine event, but also part of Diponegoro University’s Master of Epidemiology efforts to continue to improve the quality of education and research in the field of public health. Through collaboration with experts, this program is expected to have a positive impact in increasing understanding and solutions to complex health challenges.

The participants who attended this event consisted of Diponegoro University public health faculty students.
